Body Painting & SFX

My formal training in Visual Arts laid the foundation for my understanding of color, anatomy, texture, and composition. Over time, this background led me to translate my painting practice from traditional mediums into body painting, where the human body becomes an expressive, dynamic canvas. This evolution naturally expanded into the creation of characters through SFX makeup and prosthetics, integrating sculpture, paint, and performance.

In 2023, I strengthened my technical skills by completing three professional workshops at Vancouver FX Studio, Canada, focused on special effects for film:

My work in body painting has been recognized with two awards:

1st Place – Encuentro de Artistas de Body Paint S22, Mexico City (2018)
Winner – Concurso de Espectáculo Multidisciplinario, Body Paint Fest Mexico, Xalapa (2016)

These achievements reflect my commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and the fusion of fine art, performance, and technical effects in the construction of visually immersive characters.
